OUR HISTORY

History La G. CANALE & C. G. CANALE & C. S.p.A. was established in 1915 founded by Giacomo Canale; in almost 100 years it became a European-sized group with 600 employees, notching up a turnover of 100 million Euros in 2006, using 12 flat-bed machines, 7 rotary presses, 3 book binderies for trimming, sewn binding and hardback binding, all distributed in 4 plants, three of which in northern Italy and one in Rumania.
The Company The G. CANALE & C. S.p.A. Group takes care of all publishing activities, from creative and editorial matters to setting and photolithography to pre-press, printing and binding, for the national and international market. The G. CANALE & C. S.p.A. Group produces any kind of illustrated material: from encyclopaedias, dictionaries, school books, children’s books, art books, scientific and technical journals, commercial printed matter, large runs for supermarkets to prestigious, illustrated magazines. Through ongoing research and the use of advanced technologies, we always offer a top quality product at a competitive price.
